What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Represent the Department in local, state, and national partnerships
- Act as a single point of contact for Local Workforce Development Boards/Areas
- Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team
- Coordinate with public workforce system partners to implement the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) State Plan
- Manage organizational and interagency dynamics in a team-oriented environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
- Five years of experience in Workforce Development, Economic Development, or related field
- Knowledge of long-range and strategic planning concepts
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
- Seven years of experience in Workforce Development, Economic Development, or related field
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated facilitation skills
- Experience in managing organizational and interagency dynamics
