The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Energy & Environment Cabinet is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the Office of Energy Policy. The role involves reviewing and preparing operational records, coordinating travel arrangements, and assisting with project management and communication materials.ResponsibilitiesReviews, compiles, and/or prepares operational records and reports for compliance with federal, state, and agency reporting requirementsWorks with project managers to assist with contacting project representatives by phone, in writing, or in person to resolve inconsistencies or inaccuracies in records and/or reportsInterprets and applies state and EEC policies and procedures within the OEPPreparing/drafting correspondence or other responses for administrators, legislators, attorneys, clients, and/or the publicCoordinates travel arrangements, reimbursement requests, and conference registrationsCoordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual newsletters eports and develops marketing and communications materials including updates and maintenance to webpagesAssist with project summaries and success storiesAssists with KECC, conference planning, agenda development, speaker organization, and registrationCoordinates and tracks constituent requests and responsesSkillsGraduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degreeOne year of professional, administrative, or business experienceSelf-motivatedProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsWorks well individually and with a teamCompany OverviewCommonwealth of Kentucky offers employees on-the-job training and online professional development.
