Job description: UPMC Children's Hospital is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant - Intermediate to support our Radiology Department.Primary Responsibilities:
Under general direction, provides varied administrative support to a department or group of professionals.
May make travel arrangements.
Manage expense reports and maintain budget records.
Gather, analyze, and summarize data for reports.
Conduct initial research to support supervisor's needs.
Perform routine clerical duties (copying, filing, sorting, typing)
Organize office files, records, and logs.
Order office supplies and maintain office equipment.
Answer, screen, and route calls; respond to routine inquiries.
Greet and direct visitors.
Manage supervisor's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate events.
Support the preparation of presentations by editing and refining content.
Draft and respond to various types of correspondence on behalf of the department.
High school diploma or equivalent
Three years experience in an administrative support role
Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software
Ability to use applicable MS Suite products
Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles and functions
Ability to analyze data and use basic reasoning skills
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: * Clearances with renewal:
Act 31, 33, 34, & 73
