Administrative Assistant

IEM is looking for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to work with our Disaster Recovery team; the preferred candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience providing administrative support and expertise. Primary Location: Live within the United States including any US territory Work from a personal/home office location Travel Requirements: No travel is anticipated for this role. Essential Functions: Provides clerical support such as handling incoming and outgoing mail and scanning and uploading documentation into the system of record. Provides administrative support to the Program leadership. Schedule/attend/take minutes during meetings Assist with program training development and tracking Provide written and verbal communications support Document editing for policies and procedures Manages and maintains data collection and reports as required. Relays communications to staff on behalf of Program Managers and other leads. Manages several tasks simultaneously and remains flexible to learning new task assignments. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Degree: A high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Three (3) years of experience performing customer service, administrative and/or clerical work. Experience and Degree Substitution : An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to effectively perform the duties and functions of this position may be considered. Ability to acquire and implement a working knowledge of applicable Program rules and regulations. Demonstrate strong organizational and administrative competencies inclusive of exceptional record keeping, scheduling and task tracking capabilities, excellent written and oral communication skills and commitment to teamwork and excellence in responsibilities. Ability to multitask and work independently while providing excellent customer service. Intermediate level skills with various database and program management tools such as SmartSheet, Power BI, SharePoint and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
