Administrative Assistant
Salary Range:$13.00 To $14.15 Hourly
This position will be responsible for providing clerical support to the MH Services Division. Duties will include the provision/monitoring and oversight of daily activities of the Unit including maintenance of various tracking systems, billing reports, vehicle maintenance and overall unit operations. This position will work cooperatively with other departments and the community in a professional and knowledgeable manner, always ensuring consumer rights are respected and observed. Computer proficiency, skills in written and oral communication, problem solving, and teamwork are essential to this position. This position reports directly to the MH Program Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have High School Diploma or equivalency. Prefer minimum of 2 years successful college-level course completion or Associate Degree in Office Management. Must be proficient in functional office operations and various computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience working with persons with mental illness is preferred. Must possess a current Texas driverΒs license and qualify for Center insurance coverage. This staff must have a working knowledge of local resources and care coordination agreements. Computer proficiency, skills in written and oral communication, problem solving, and teamwork are essential to this position. .
Primary responsibilities may include engaging clients in a care coordination process to ensure clients are connected to healthcare resources and have the ability to engage with those resources.
This position may be required to connect with outside agencies who's partnerships will benefit client care in an effort to streamline coordinated services.
Hours: Monday thru Friday; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
This is a Full Time position. Benefits are available.
Will be eligible for a one and two year step increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
