The Boston Architectural College (BAC) seeks an adjunct instructor to teach its master’s level Real Estate Entrepreneurial Leadership course. We are looking for a practitioner-educator who can propel students to forge the entrepreneurial mindset of a real estate developer – one who is not only a visionary but a doer able to build and implement a vision in collaboration with a team of professional experts, diverse participants, and interested stakeholders. Candidates are encouraged to propose their ideas to shape the specific content of the course.

This is an 8-week, fast-paced course that meets once a week for 3 hours. The course is taught synchronously using Zoom. It is scheduled to run from mid-October to mid-December, Tuesdays either from 4:00 to 7:00 (ET) or 7:15 to 10:15pm (ET). Students are located throughout the US and in neighboring countries. The adjunct may be remote and need not be located in Boston.



Minimum required qualifications:

o Master’s degree in real estate development, business, or a related field

o Demonstrated experience in entrepreneurial leadership, decisive communication, stakeholder diplomacy, and effective negotiation

Preferred qualifications:

o Prior teaching or mentoring in an academic or professional setting

o Experience with online teaching (synchronous or asynchronous), online collaboration platforms, and/or Moodle (or a similar LMS)

Successful candidate must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
