Position Title (Classification Title): Adjunct Instructor Pool - Graduate Nursing - Online teaching & practicums Working Title: Adjunct Instructor Job Summary: The college is building a pool of adjuncts for online teaching opportunities in our Master's Programs for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate academic department. Department Nursing FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure. Position Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing or related field, Master's Degree in Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership or as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. Experience supervising students preferred. A clear unencumbered Florida Nursing License. If Nurse Practitioner, certification as nurse practitioner. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching MSN students in the online setting.If Nurse Practitioner, current certification required. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job: This position requires a criminal background screen. This position requires licensure, certification, or other qualifications described in the Special Instructions.
