Job Summary
Adjunct Instructors provide instruction in assigned courses within their academic discipline. This is a part-time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis depending on departmental teaching needs.
Essential Job Functions
ā¢ Teach courses at assigned times using current pedagogical methods, maintaining accurate records of student performance and grades.
ā¢ Maintain effective and timely communication with students, department chair, and other university personnel as appropriate.
Minimum and Desired Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
ā¢ Applicants should hold a graduate degree in the relevant teaching discipline or a closely related field. Additional qualifications may be required depending on accreditation standards or departmental needs.
ā¢ Demonstrated expertise in the subject area.
ā¢ Commitment to teaching excellence.
Desired Qualifications:
ā¢ College or university-level teaching experience.
ā¢ Experience with online and technology-enhanced instruction.
Supplemental Information

ā¢ Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
ā¢ Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.
ā¢ Ability to foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Physical Requirements:
