The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Albright College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate History courses in a 7.5-week, fully online asynchronous format. SPS serves adult learners through flexible, career-relevant programs designed to support academic and professional success.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate engaging undergraduate courses in an asynchronous online environment using a course blueprint modelProvide timely, substantive feedback on student workSupport critical thinking, historical analysis, and written communicationMaintain an active and consistent instructional presenceFoster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for adult learnersQualificationsMaster’s degree or higher in History or a closely related fieldExperience teaching in online, accelerated, asynchronous formats Familiarity with D2L Brightspace is preferredComfort using experiential and applied learning strategies within a pre-designed courseStrong communication, feedback, and student engagement skillsExperience working with adult or non-traditional learners preferred
