Adjunct Faculty Opportunity in Teacher Education - Empowering the Next Generation of Educators

Join our vibrant community at Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) as an Adjunct Faculty member in Teacher Education! We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to teach education courses and contribute to the growth and development of our students. Key Responsibilities: • Teach education courses in diverse learning environments, including online and in-person settings • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and aligns with industry standards • Provide academic advising and support to students, including mentoring and coaching • Participate in department and committee meetings to contribute to the growth and development of our programs • Maintain current professional standards and practices, including ongoing professional development and training Requirements: • Master's degree in Education or a related field • Five years of licensed teaching experience at the P-12 level • Experience in curriculum development, student advising, and teaching in multicultural settings • Commitment to serving a diverse college community and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion Preferred Qualifications: • Recent teaching experience at a community college or in adult education • Experience in teacher mentoring and online teaching • Bilingual (English/Spanish) • A strong record of continuing professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning What We Offer: • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience • Opportunities for professional growth and development • A supportive and inclusive work environment • The chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and the community How to Apply: Apply now to join our community of educators and make a difference in the lives of our students.
