Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide a student-centered learning environment which enables students to attain success.
ā¢ Remain current with trends, techniques, and advances in technology that are applicable to the program.
ā¢ Maintain open and timely communication with students and the University.
ā¢ Provide students with appropriate guidance regarding academic excellence and attendance.
ā¢ Complete other duties as assigned by the Dean or Chair.
ā¢ Maintain and submit accurate and timely reports for student grades.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
ā¢ PhD or Master's degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
ā¢ Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
ā¢ Demonstrate a commitment to students.
ā¢ Ability to work in a highly diverse environment.
ā¢ Provide a positive student-centered atmosphere with patience and understanding.
