Position: Actuary-Rate Filings (REMOTE) Actuary-Rate Filings (REMOTE) Contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s insurance client. Pay rate: $45-52/hr remote. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead and support personal lines rate filings (Auto and Umbrella), including direct engagement with state DOIs. • Independently review and provide feedback on rate filings prepared by junior analysts, ensuring actuarial soundness and strategic alignment. • Anticipate and address DOI objections with thoughtful, data-driven responses that support the filing’s integrity and business goals. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure filings reflect current trends, regulatory expectations, and competitive positioning. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field and 4+ years of actuarial or analytical experience, with at least 2 years focused on personal lines rate filings in the United States. • Knowledge of computer programming languages, such as Visual Basic. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Excellent communication skills. • CAS, ACAS, or FCAS required.
