Summary / ObjectiveServe as the technical expert and project manager for the annual funding, accounting, and compliance requirements for defined benefit pension plans.ResponsibilitiesLeverage tools and resources to provide clients with innovative and effective solutionsAssist in the development and delivery of quality client communication and deliverables in support of Senior ConsultantsPrepare and manage internal project deadlinesPrepare, technically review, and serve as primary contact to clients on annual service offeringsReview pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions, Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, and other legal regulationsOversee annual employee pension statement projectsAssist in completing and managing non-routine client work such as plan design, plan termination, benefit statements, and other special projectsAssist in the development and training of student-level staffSkills & Qualifications• Bachelor degree in math, actuarial science, or other related field• One or more credentials from the Society of Actuaries or Joint Board of Enrolled actuaries required• If not fully credentialed, pursuit of FSA is required• ProVal experience a strong plus• Project management experience• Strong communication skills, including client consulting and presentationsBe aware of employment fraud.
