Actuarial Analyst | Hybrid

Entry level member of the actuarial team, providing support of a mathematical / technical nature which is used in developing multiple insurance products, producing experience and valuation reports, and preparing financial statements. You will report into a credentialed Actuary.

What you do:

Entry level member of the actuarial team, providing support of a mathematical / technical nature which is used in developing various insurance products, producing experience and valuation reports, and preparing financial statements.
β€’ Support completion of projects for actuarial functions including:
β€’ Product development and pricing analyses
β€’ Product management tools and studies
β€’ Business and related forecasts
β€’ Valuation, financial reporting and analyses
β€’ Prepare financial reports, memorandums and other required actuarial supporting analyses including:
β€’ New product and filings and rollouts
β€’ Product management actions
β€’ Requests from external auditors, state regulators and rating agencies
β€’ Communicate actuarial results to cross-functional areas including:
β€’ Business unit and other Support unit personnel
β€’ Other actuaries
β€’ Documentation of the actuarial analysis performed
β€’ Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

What you bring:
β€’ 0-1 years experience required; prior internships
β€’ Experience with SQL, C++, Excel, VBA, or related programs/programming languages
β€’ Four-year degree required in Actuarial science, math, physics, economics, engineering, or related field
β€’ Passed 1-2 SOA Exam
β€’ You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

Base Salary Range $47,000 - $94,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
