About the Role: As the Accounts Receivable Specialist at GLOBO, you'll join the Accounting Team in pursuit of our mission of “Helping people communicate when it matters most.'' You will bring your expertise to perform routine Accounts Receivable functions, effectively manage client relationships, close the books in a timely manner and assist in the completion of monthly billing. Other key responsibilities include: • Prepare, verify, post, and record customer payments and transactions to accounts receivable. • Maintain professional and empathetic customer service relationships with clients. • Create invoices according to company practices; submit invoices to customers. • Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, and contractual changes. • Identify and track delinquent accounts timely. • Manage past-due accounts and collections correspondence by reviewing files, and contact delinquent account holders to request payment. • Create reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested. • Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts. • Reconcile accounts receivable on a monthly basis. • Assist in the monthly close as needed. Manage expense reports and company credit cards. You’ll excel in the role by: • Being a strong team player who is capable of prioritizing and executing projects in a fast-paced environment. • Being a customer service guru and someone who can navigate difficult conversations with finesse and empathy. Apply if: • You have an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. • You have 2-3 years of related billing and accounts receivable experience. • Your communications and customer service skills are top-notch. • You have a working knowledge of QuickBooks or other small business accounting software.
