Accounts Receivable Specialist

Sidley Austin LLP is a prominent law firm, and they are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist with the collection of past due accounts receivable. This role involves extensive contact with partners and clients, managing a significant portfolio of client collections, and performing various administrative tasks related to accounts receivable.ResponsibilitiesHandle a significant portfolio of Firmwide Client Collection responsibilities in addition to the AR portfolio of the local officeReview and analyze accounts receivable agingUnderstand and follow the electronic billing life cycle process in order to take the appropriate actions to resolve accounts receivableContact clients via frequent phone calls, emails, and formal letters to follow-up on status of unpaid invoicesNegotiate, document, and arrange payment schedulesUse Firm’s collection system on a daily basis to identify collection follow-ups and to document collection statuses Assist with special projects, including creating, formatting, and editing Excel spreadsheetsType statements and correspondences, including the preparation of charts and tablesPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
