Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Applied Systems is a worldwide leader in insurance technology, currently searching for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join their accounting team. The role involves processing accounts receivable activities, reconciling customer payments, and collaborating with the accounts receivable team while working primarily from home. Responsibilities Applying customer payments to appropriate trade receivables in accounting system Reconciling customer payment activity to bank deposits Communicating and following up with customers Collaborating and working with the accounts receivable team including the team manager Reviewing accounts receivable aging Assist in special projects as needed Skills Minimum 1-3 years of practical accounting/bookkeeping experience Working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft products Understanding of core concepts related to collections including accounts receivable, cash application, customer communication, and management Working knowledge of basic accounting terminology and procedures An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred; however, we highly value equivalent professional experience and encourage candidates with a strong accounting background to apply Oracle NetSuite Experience Familiarity with accounting for foreign currencies such as the Canadian Dollar Self-Motivated, Eagerness to Learn Excellent Communication Skills and Organized Trustworthy, Dependable, & Reliable Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Holiday and Vacation Time Health and Wellness Days A Bonus Day for Your Birthday Company Overview Applied Systems is a digital insurance agency that provides software for agency management systems.
