Accounts Receivable Assistant
Kahana Feld is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant responsible for financial processing and transactions. The role involves daily bookkeeping, processing customer payments, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients on payment processing. Responsibilities Accurately apply deposits and payments to client accounts, ensuring proper credit and resolving any discrepancies promptly Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and generate aging reports for management Follow up with clients, adjusters, or Third-Party Administrators regarding payment status and issues Recommend process improvements to optimize the accounts receivable process Research eBilling platforms (i.e., Tymetrix, Legal-X & CounselLink) for invoice payment status Assist Billing Specialists with resolving billing issues in eBilling portals Skills Responsible for financial processing and transactions, including daily bookkeeping and recordkeeping Processing customer payments Working with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors on payment processing Following up with clients and adjusters regarding past due balances Accurately apply deposits and payments to client accounts, ensuring proper credit and resolving any discrepancies promptly Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and generate aging reports for management Follow up with clients, adjusters, or Third-Party Administrators regarding payment status and issues Recommend process improvements to optimize the accounts receivable process Research eBilling platforms (i.e., Tymetrix, Legal-X & CounselLink) for invoice payment status Assist Billing Specialists with resolving billing issues in eBilling portals Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards Ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials Ability to perform primarily sedentary work and exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Company Overview Kahana Feld is a law firm that focuses on business litigation, insurance, employment, and construction defect litigations.
