Accounts Payable ( with Rent Manager )
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist , who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the AP cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records using Rent Manager . You’ll work closely with property managers, vendors, and the accounting team to maintain smooth and compliant financial operations. Enter and process invoices, bills, and payment requests in Rent Manager . Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve billing issues. Schedule and process vendor payments (checks, ACH, etc.) accurately and on time. Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting requirements. Track recurring expenses (utilities, maintenance, contracts) and ensure proper coding. Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries. Assist with monthly financial close by preparing reports and reconciling accounts. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and records. Requirements Accounts payable experience, preferably in property management or real estate . Hands-on experience with Rent Manager is required. Solid understanding of AP workflows and accounting principles. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
