Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist Holt Accelerator is growing and seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is a key part of our finance team, responsible for managing both outgoing and incoming financial transactions to support our fast-paced, innovation-driven organization. Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process invoices, including data entry, matching, coding, and approvals Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment details Prepare and schedule payments (checks and electronic payments) Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, contracts, or payments Review vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations Accounts Receivable Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances Maintain accurate records of all receivable transactions General Accounting Support Ensure accurate matching of revenues and expenses Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Support audits by preparing required documentation Maintain accurate financial records and reporting Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes Assist with special projects as needed Requirements Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 2β5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive salary. 401(k) program Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Company-provided laptop and mobile support Opportunity to work within a global innovation and venture ecosystem
