Accounts Payable Intern
Job Description
SUMMARY: This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting operations environment, supports key functions of the Accounts Payable group.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Creates and updates supplier information in NetSuite for all departments within 3-5 days of the request
Replies to requesters within the 3-5 days providing update confirmation
Responsible for all file maintenance, current and historical
Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting tasks as needed
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a BS or MBA/MS
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical skills
Observational and listening skills
Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and organizational skills
Ability to listen effectively, respect others’ perspectives and contributions, and offer and accept constructive feedback
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Netsuite
Experience with Accounting/Bookkeeping is a plus
Experience with Data Analytics
Experience with system administration/vendor management
This internship is paying $22.00/per hour.
