Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk will handle various tasks within the Accounts Payable department, including vendor maintenance, invoice processing, and communication with customers, requiring a hybrid work setup in Memphis, TN.ResponsibilitiesPerforms all Disbursement tasks related to Accounts Payable: Processing of payments (ACH, wires, checks, virtual credit card), Void/reissue in banking system, standard invoice processing knowledge (non-purchase order, two way and three-way match, Invoice processing, vendor maintenance, 1099 processing, and spreadsheet uploads) in an accurate and timely fashionReviewing and audit vendor statementsResponsible for direct and proactive communication and follow-up with internal and external customersSort and process incoming AP mailAssist in gathering information for various audits both internal and externalHandle all unresolved customer service issues from both internal and external customersIdentify and promote the sharing of best practices across corporatePerform duties and support specialist projects as directed and requested by leadership such as ad-hoc reportingSkills1-2 years of related accounts payable experience requiredKnowledge of ERP systemsComprehensive knowledge of Procure to Pay practices including laws and regulations, best practice processes and tools etcStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain high level of accuracyExcellent organizational skillsDetail orientedAssociate's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting OR equivalent years related accounts payable experience requiredAccounts Payable certification by an accredited organization preferredBenefitsProfessional and Personal GrowthTraining and development programs availableTuition Reimbursement benefits (for FT Colleagues)Health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance plus much more401(k) retirement plan with company-matching contributionsVacation days & sick daysCompany-paid holidays & floating holidaysCompany OverviewTerminix specializes in providing residential and commercial pest control.
