Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Matching, on a full-time temporary basis on our Corporate Accounting team. This role is ideal for a self-starter looking to grow in the accounting industry, focusing on matching invoices and supporting the Accounts Payable team.ResponsibilitiesMatch supplier and interbranch invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies using appropriate GL codingPrepare and process supplier claims, including damages, shortages, manual adjustments, and journal entriesCollaborate with FCL commodities and distribution centers to ensure timely, accurate matching and issue resolution with vendorsSupport the Accounts Payable team in identifying and clearing system mismatches and investigating claim disputesOther duties as requiredSkillsHave a high school diplomaTwo post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institutionA minimum of one year of relevant accounting experiencePreference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional areaBenefitsComprehensive benefits packageEmployer-contributed pension planCompany OverviewFederated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) does business differently.
