Job Description Job Title: Accounting Manager Pay Range: $130,000 - 145,000 + Bonus Location: Remote must live in EST time zone Must-Haves: • Active CPA • 6-8 years of total work experience • Minimum of 2 years Public Accounting experience • Corporate Experience & Progression • Managed month-end close & consolidation • Technical accounting skills including: ASC 805, ASC 606 Preferred: • Experience working in remote, multicultural teams • Background in the tech or software industry • Experience working with auditors • US tax experience Job Description: Our client in the Financial Software industry is hiring an experienced Accounting Managerto join their expanding Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both corporate and public accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP and technical standards, and hold an active CPA license. This role involves managing consolidated financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and overseeing daily accounting operations. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to apply their public accounting experience in a fast-paced corporate setting. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely, accurate consolidated financials in line with GAAP and company policies. • Close & Reconciliations: Manage general ledger, month/year-end close, and account reconciliations. • Global Consolidation: Oversee intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and consolidated reporting. • Compliance & Audit: Ensure GAAP compliance, manage technical accounting, and support audits. • Internal Controls: Maintain strong controls to ensure reporting accuracy and asset protection. • Tax Support: Assist with U.S. and international tax filings and compliance. • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support planning, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and enhance ERP efficiency. • ERP Oversight: Manage ERP modules, upgrades, and team training.
