We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting our growth in the retail and luxury sectors.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations:
Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Lead annual audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and implement scalable processes and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and cost accounting procedures.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Partner with FP&A and business teams to align financial data with business objectives.
Strategic Contributions:
Assist in developing budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
Play a critical role in integrating accounting functions for any new business acquisitions or system implementations.

The Successful Applicant
Education & Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification (required).
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial capacity.
Previous experience in high-growth retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries (required).
Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting practices.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with financial analysis tools and reporting platforms.
