Using best-in-class software and processes, we deliver peace of mind.As our Americas based Accounting Manager, you’ll work primarily with our Controllers and US and Philippines based team of accountants, assisting B Consulting clients with various accounting and business management activities. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing accurate data to support strategic decision-making while overseeing the work of our Philippines based accounting team. In this role, you'll need to manage and lead multiple client projects and communicate with clients to support their requests while also supporting our controllers.What you'll do:Perform a full cycle accounting close:Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statementsReview offshore team's workLead client callsManage client budgetsReconciliations and accrual journal entriesUpdate financial models and cash forecasts with actualsManage accounting activities:Accounts Receivable (invoicing, collections)Accounts Payable (processing bills, set up vendors)Payroll reconciliationSales ordersPurchase ordersInventory (landed costs)Implement and use various software solutions:Accounting ERPs (QuickBooks Online (certification preferred), Xero, NetSuite)Expense management (Expensify, Ramp, Concur, Bill.com)Billing (Ramp, Bill.com)Payroll (Gusto, JustWorks, Trinet, ADP)Sales platforms (Shopify, Amazon FBA)Merchant service platforms (Stripe, PayPal)Inventory software (Cin7, Fishbowl, SOS, and others)Demonstrate a strong accounting background and knowledge of US GAAP:Revenue Recognition (ASC606)Prepaid and Accrued ExpensesDeferred RevenueFixed Assets and DepreciationLease AccountingInventory, Manufacturing, Cost AccountingAssist with tax process and maintain compliance with government agencies (working with tax partners):Annual federal income tax returns (C Corp, LLC, S Corp)Annual State filings and Franchise TaxesLocal Business Registrations & ComplianceSales and Use TaxR&D Tax CreditsW9/1099What you'll bring:Bachelor’s Degree requiredConcentration in Accounting or Finance preferred7+ years of applicable experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting theory, principles, and practicesPublic accounting experience a plusStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, sum-if formulas, etc.)Strong communication skillsStrong time management skillsThis is a remote opportunity.#LI-Remote
