What Were Looking for in an Accounting Clerk:
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to support both clients and internal team members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across multiple functions, including payroll, HR, sales tax compliance, and client onboarding.

Enjoys working directly with customers
Has a thorough understanding of cloud accounting and administrative functions
Can work methodically on ongoing operational and accounting tasks
Understands how to organize information and communicate it effectively
Our Accounting Clerks are Equipped to Manage the Following Areas of Responsibility:
Providing company-wide client & team support
Managing new client onboarding processes
Serving as a Payroll & HR Specialist across multiple clients
Handling employee onboarding for clients
Managing sales tax-related tasks, including state agency registrations for clients
Maintaining Accountant Dashboards to track key metrics and tasks
Transferring applicable year-end tasks to Registered Agents
Our Accounting Clerks Bring the Following Education and Experience to the Role:
Bachelors degree (preferably in accounting, finance, or administration)
Experience with cloud accounting technology
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with office administration
Our Accounting Clerks Bring the Following Skills to the Role:
Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills
Effective time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Ability to learn new software quickly
ProfitLine Offers our Accounting Clerks:
Full-time 5-day work week - Monday to Friday
Core working hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm EST, with some flexibility
$50k to $60k annual salary + bonus eligibility
