Accounting Clerk

Rothe Development, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk to provide procurement and travel accounting support for the NASA eMITS contract. The role involves managing accounts payable tasks including validating invoices, processing payment requests, and maintaining effective communication with vendors and the corporate office.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with buyers and the Corporate office, validate invoices, purchase orders, credit card statements and payables information to ensure accuracy of all data including unit pricing, pricing extension, freight charges, tax, etc. and prepare vendor invoices for processing utilizing Deltek Costpoint. Research any incorrect or missing information in order to take action and resolve, avoiding errant or duplicate payments. Support the month-end closing processProcess vendor payment requests for payment in a timely manner using Deltek Costpoint. Research any incorrect or missing information in order to take action and resolveResearch vendor invoices with incorrect or missing information and take appropriate action to resolve. Audit invoices to ensure accuracy of all information including unit pricing, pricing extension, freight charges, denial of sales tax, etcEstablish and maintain effective communication within the department, with Vendors and with the Corporate officeCompile information for and assist with reporting as directed on purchase orders, travel expense reports, customer audits, invoices, and metricsMaintain Accounts Payable Inbox and ensure electronic files are kept in a highly organized and efficient mannerAssist other business support areas as needed including travel, expense reports, inventory, office supply ordersSkillsHS, general administrative working experience in an office environmentAttention to details with strong organizational skillsExperience in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Company OverviewSince 1967, Rothe Development, Inc.
