Accounting Associate

Christie's International Real Estate | @properties Lone Star is an independently owned luxury real estate brokerage seeking an Accounting Associate to support their growing accounting needs. The role involves managing the financial lifecycle of residential transactions, ensuring commission accuracy, data integrity, and timely reporting across systems. Responsibilities Enter all transactions into BoldTrail within 48 hours Maintain accurate transaction data (dates, sides, volume, agents) Validate commission plans prior to CDA creation (Controller signoff) Track transactions from executed contract through close Ensure compliance clearance prior to payout Own transactions from 'ready for CDA' through commission booking Validate splits against commission agreements Verify referral fees and team structures Route CDAs for approval and coordinate corrections Maintain commission plans in BoldTrail and update changes in real-time Validate new agent commission setups Conduct periodic audits and resolve discrepancies Reconcile BoldTrail production to QuickBooks monthly Monitor discrepancies across systems and escalate as needed Maintain commission clearing account reconciliations Support month-end close and reporting Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed Skills Strong attention to detail with a zero-error mindset Ability to calculate and validate commissions, splits, and fees Experience with QuickBooks Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workflows Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work across multiple systems and maintain data accuracy Residential real estate or brokerage accounting experience Understanding of commission structures (splits, caps, teams, referrals) Experience with BoldTrail or similar systems Company Overview Christie's International Real Estate @properties Lone Star pairs strong local ownership with the cutting-edge technology and marketing resources of a leading national brokerage.
