The Accounting Assistant in Trenton, Maine is responsible for assisting with the processing of payments, and providing excellent customer service. Youll have a solid understanding of how to maintain and file information, and perform bookkeeping and accounts payable and receivable functions. This is a full time, 1st position that is temp to hire.
Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Solid knowledge of Excel
Excellent phone and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Works well under pressure
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain accurate financial records
AR and AP, as well as bookkeeping abilities
Financial software savvy
Required Skills:
Previous experience in an office setting
Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures
Accounting Assistant Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Start Date: ASAP
