Accounting Analyst
In a nutshell:
The Accounting Analyst will support the company’s month-end close process and assist with day-to-day accounting activities. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced accounting environment.
What you will do:
Assist with the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries
Perform account reconciliations and maintain balance sheet schedules
Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
Support variance analysis and assist in preparing financial reports
Prepare analysis and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Help prepare annual tax forms and filings
Support the Controller with ad hoc projects and process improvements
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
1–3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles considered)
Basic understanding of US GAAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
What will set you apart:
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Exposure to both public or private accounting environments
Spanish language skills
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and take initiative
Additional information:
Position reports to the Controller
Position will report to Company HQ in Tampa, Florida, but will have the ability to work remotely
