Accountant (Internal Accounting) – Senior

Overview: SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for an Accountant. We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values. Purpose of the role: You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and accurate migration of financial data between 1C databases by contributing to the planning, execution, and validation of this critical project. Your expertise in accounting and systems will help maintain the integrity of both management and statutory reporting during the transition. Following the migration, you will take on a wide range of accounting and financial responsibilities, supporting monthly closings, preparing financial reports, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. Your strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work across teams will support both the operational and strategic goals of the finance function. Key responsibilities: Participate in the project of migrating the company from one 1C database to another Help develop the migration plan and take into account the specifics of the business Transfer and verify data (balances, documents, directories) Monitor the accuracy of management and statutory accounting in the new database Take part in testing, reconciliations, and parallel accounting Support the preparation of reports during the transition period Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure a smooth migration Participating in month-end-close activities Review and control data received from business partners Preparation of monthly management accounts and periodical financial reporting Preparing budgets and forecasts together with department heads to implement their initiatives and achieve corporate goals Other Ad Hoc reports, analysis, tasks requested by management.
