Accountant I

They are seeking an Accountant I to manage month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations, while also supporting senior accountants and seeking process improvements. Responsibilities Responsible for monthly close processes including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analyses Develop, analyze and interpret accounting data Support senior accountants with account reconciliations as well as in their work with internal and external auditors Seek out opportunities for process improvement or to gain efficiency Research, investigate, and resolve accounting, reconciliation and system discrepancies Proactively identifies issues and independently works to resolve completion Perform other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's Degree or (4) years' experience in accounting or related field One (1) year of relevant experience Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Experience working with Workday or a similar application Health insurance experience Benefits Medical, vision, and dental coverage with low employee premiums.
