They are seeking an Accountant & General Ledger Specialist to maintain the general ledger, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and assist with audits and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Maintaining the general ledger Reconciling accounts Preparing financial statements and reports Assisting with audits and regulatory compliance Monitoring incoming and outgoing transactions Ensuring accurate financial records Assisting with budgeting Collaborating across departments to maintain precision in financial processes Skills Proficiency in General Ledger Maintenance, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliation Knowledge of Accounting Principles, Account Analysis, and Budgeting Processes Experience with Financial Software, Data Management, and Payroll Processing Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Experience in the financial services industry or credit union environment is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan & Employer contribution Retirement Plan Tuition Reimbursement Work/Life Balance PTO Company Overview Princeton Federal Credit Union is a non-profit organization that offers savings, loans and online banking services to its customers.
