Accountant, Business Advisor – Account Manager
Job Description:
• Manage a book of 50+ clients
• Lead and mentor a team of staff accountants and junior managers
• Prepare, review, and finalize personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Identify new business opportunities, expand firm services, and cultivate strong client relationships
• Drive improvements in processes and embrace change
Requirements:
• 5+ years in public accounting with a strong focus on tax
• Proficient in tax research, business consulting, and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and applying new software
• CPA or EA certification required with a commitment to obtaining it promptly if not already obtained
• Proficient in software programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Qount and tax-related tools
