Accountant

Sodexo is seeking an Accountant in the Segment Support, Contract Management Department at the Finance Shared Services office in Buffalo, NY. The role involves performing routine assignments, maintaining financial reporting integrity, and managing business relationships while adhering to GAAP and company policies. Responsibilities Support and maintain strong business relationships with segment finance and operational teams Ensure integrity of business lines internal financial reporting & prepare client income statements & billings Apply GAAP & objective accounting judgement to knowledge of contractual agreements & company policy Maintain company databases as necessary Manage daily phone calls, emails, and SoFinance requests to assist operators with financial acumen Work proactively to prevent problems and identify and implement innovative solutions Set up new Contracts including billing and system updates Reconcile, review, and validate Blackline reconciliations and supporting documentati Skills Working knowledge of GAAP High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred or equivalent experience Accounting experience 1-2 years preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions Paid Time Off and Company Holidays Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement Company Overview Entegra is a business performance and procurement services company with bold initiatives, creative solutions and a driven advisory team ready to partner with hospitality-driven businesses to propel them forward and achieve more than ever.
