Accountant

Tacton is a global leader in software for manufacturers of complex products, seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their Finance team. The role involves managing the customer invoicing process, ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition, and supporting various accounting operations within a SaaS environment. Responsibilities Own and manage the end-to-end customer invoicing process Interpret customer agreements to ensure accurate billing schedules and revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/IFRS Record incoming payments and perform account reconciliations Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations and the Renewal Manager to ensure alignment and accuracy Support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities, including processing supplier invoices, supplier payments, sales tax, tax filing in collaboration with accounting form, payroll accounting, and expenses Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and insights related to revenue and key performance metrics Contribute to FP&A activities, including forecasting and variance analysis Skills Proven experience in invoicing and accounts receivable, preferably in a complex or high-volume environment Working knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, including revenue recognition principles Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business is a strong advantage Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Workday and/or Salesforce is a plus Solid understanding of accounting principles, including reconciliations and month-end close processes Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze and interpret financial data Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and insights Experience in FP&A, including forecasting and variance analysis, is a plus Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a focus on meeting deadlines Benefits Complimentary Gym Membership Flexible hybrid setup - 3x a week at the office 30days of paid time off – 20 days of PTO, 10 Wellness Days Weekly treats – because good food brings people together.
