Role Description Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to identify and vet U.S.-based accounting professionals for a short-term staffing engagement. We’re seeking both junior and senior-level experts with backgrounds in corporate accounting or experience at top-tier accounting firms. This is a flexible, project-based opportunity to support a client initiative requiring high-trust financial expertise. Responsibilities will be project-dependent and clarified upon engagement with the client Candidates may be expected to collaborate in real-time with client-side stakeholders Tasks will align with typical corporate or public accounting functions Qualifications U.S.-based Background in corporate accounting or at a leading accounting firm (e.g., Big Four or equivalent) Strong communication and collaborative skills for synchronous engagements Requirements Short-term direct staffing with the AI lab Expected commitment: 5–20 hours/week Synchronous collaboration expected Benefits You’ll be classified as an independent contractor Payments processed weekly via Stripe Connect
