AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team.
About the Role
Important Note:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (including the ability to create pivot tables)
• Experience with Oracle Fusion
• Exposure to Adobe Acrobat
The accountant is responsible for performing mid-level to complex accounting functions in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
In addition, this role will participate in monthly close activities and other daily tasks.
The accountant will preparing internal reports.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares and posts simple to moderate journal entries.
• Generates internal financial performance reports and narratives and validates data output.
• Performs account reconciliations and analyze variances, including key drivers and trends.
• Processes and reports transactions in accordance with GAAP
• Participates in month-end processes
• Identifies and researches problems; proactively proposes solutions
Skills/Experience: Minimum Qualifications
2+ w/Bachelors degree
Additional Experience
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Strong organizational/time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Oracle Financial Cloud or ERP software experience.
• Effectively coordinate work and communicate across functions and levels in the organization.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
