Account Specialist Print

Remote Full-time
As an Account Specialist, Print within Staples US Retail, you will play a key role in supporting and growing profitable print sales across contract and transactional business. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to deliver high-quality print solutions, manage complex projects, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where you will manage multiple customer requests, support sales initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve both revenue and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do
Customer & Sales Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external print customers
Support customer inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, systems)
Build strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
Identify opportunities to upsell and expand services within existing accounts

Order & Project Management
Manage custom print orders from intake through fulfillment, including quoting, proofing, production, and delivery
Coordinate transactional and programmatic print requests across multiple accounts
Ensure all orders are completed accurately, on time, and at profitable margins
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and order specifications

Operational Execution & Problem Solving
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the order lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional partners as needed
Take proactive steps to prevent recurring issues and improve processes
Prioritize and manage a high volume of tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Sales, Implementations, Sourcing, Print Support, and suppliers to deliver solutions
Collaborate on account planning and program execution to drive retention and growth
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes

Data & Business Insights
Leverage reporting and data analysis to identify opportunities to grow sales and improve operational efficiency
Present insights and recommendations to internal teams and sales leadership
Monitor key performance indicators such as win rate, customer engagement, and service levels

Process Improvement & Continuous Learning
Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, improve service quality, and drive efficiency
Maintain strong knowledge of print systems, tools, and product offerings
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Retail Sales background
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes
Basic mathematical aptitude and comfort working with data

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of relevant experience in print, customer service, sales, or project management (B2B preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and tools quickly

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Experience in print services or digital copy environments
Strong technical and system navigation skills
Bilingual (Spanish)

Work Schedule hours of 11:30am-8:00pm EST
