Account Sales Representative
We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented individual to join our growing team as an Account Sales Representative!
Power Line Supply is the nation's largest independently owned utility specific distributor and provides protective equipment testing, tool repair, and technical services consulting to customers around the world.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop positive relationships with customers
Act in a support role to the account manager and in handling customer's individual needs
Assist Outside Sales and Account Manager in their ability to generate new business by facilitating excellent customer relationship management with existing and potential new customers
Assist Account Manager in resolving conflicts and provide solutions in to customers in a timely manner
Generate Open Order Report to provide customer with order status as needed
Assist Account Manager in resolving cost corrections and other administrative functions as needed
Work efficiently and cooperatively with all pertinent PLS departments
Be proficient in all aspects of PLS' P21 ERP system
Stay current on industry trends and best practices
Act within the letter and spirit of the laws of the United States, the States and municipalities in which The Power Line Supply Company operates
Ensure your availability to respond to Storm or Emergency work that may occur from time to time for proper support of customer's needs.
Requirements:
Preferred - Associates Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Hands on experience in sales and a proven track record of delivering an excellent customer experience
Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
Excellent planning and organizational skills
