Account Representative, SMB Outbound Sales - Canada

They are seeking an entrepreneurial Outbound Account Representative to join the North American Outbound SMB Sales team for Canada, contributing to the growth of PayPal’s acceptance of online merchants. The role involves driving demand generation, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize offerings.ResponsibilitiesDrive demand generation and qualification through cold calling, email outreach, and inbound lead responseNegotiate and close contracts, addressing legal, financial, and technical concerns effectivelyConduct thorough discovery to analyze customer needs and present pre-packaged solutions and use-casesMaintain a rigorous pipeline with accurate forecasting and regular reporting on pipeline status and revenue forecastsCollaborate across departments to ensure alignment and leverage customer insights to optimize offeringsMeet and exceed established sales and revenue targetsBuild, manage and deliver on a pipeline and forecast of company-provided and prospected business opportunitiesMeet and exceed sales activity targets such as discovery calls, outbound communications, new account acquisitions and close ratesDevelop personal sales strategies to achieve sales goals and exceed sales targetsAbility to execute the entire sales process, starting with prospecting new leads to the activation of new accountsMaintain and promote a positive and professional persona while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing internal and external customers and colleaguesDemonstrate productive teamwork through positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of PayPalMaintain comprehensive understanding and application of PayPal product and services, market competitors, industry trends and client success stories as provided by managementSkills1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experienceOutbound sales experience in technology and ecommerce, such as infrastructure, software, fintech, or online retail industriesProven ability to close deals of more than $2 million annuallyStrong verbal and written communications skills are a mustProficient in Office 365, Salesforce.com and other desktop solutions, with an ability to navigate a desktop environment easilyA team player with great interpersonal, cross-functional project management abilitiesSelf-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-throughKnowledge and understanding of processing and financial models in e-commerce is a plusBilingual speaker is a plus.
