About the position Responsibilities • Manage relationships with Agency/Broker/Consultant/Client to enhance brand loyalty. • Develop renewal strategies for each Agency/Broker/Consultant/Client. • Establish and own account plans and implement annual activity roadmaps. • Lead and coordinate annual contract renewals, negotiating financial terms. • Ensure effective contract implementation and management across the organization. • Achieve corporate retention and net growth targets for medical and ancillary products. • Support the RFP/RFQ process for clients. • Build financial acumen to develop sales strategies and collaborate with teams. • Maintain Salesforce records as per division requirements. • Participate in the implementation of new business contracts to meet stakeholder needs. • Present to stakeholders to motivate group employee engagement strategies. • Mentor team members as appropriate. • Engage regularly in the market as defined by leadership. Requirements • 3+ years of related professional experience. • Possess or acquire MN Resident Producer License in Life & Health/Accident within 60 days of employment. • Excellent analytical, problem identification, and resolution skills related to benefit plans. • Financial capabilities to interpret and present complex renewal and underwriting formulas. • Knowledge of ancillary programs available in the industry and Blue Cross products. • Highly organized with attention to detail and a track record of client service. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to present and educate customers on complex products. • Ability to achieve results in a complex environment with tight deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to contribute positively to team dynamics. • Ability to influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. • Demonstrated PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's degree. • Knowledge of Blue Cross and affiliates products.
