Account Manager (EMEA)

Join Wordly's fast growing global team! About the roleAs the EMEA Account Manager, you will drive renewal retention and expansion across a set of Wordly’s key customers. You will map stakeholders across functions and regions, uncover new internal opportunities, and build multi-threaded relationships that turn single use cases into broader adoption. You will run health checks and business reviews, maintain a clean forecast in HubSpot, and act as the voice of the customer internally to inform priorities and improvements.What you’ll doOwn renewals and expansion (NRR accountability): Manage the full renewal lifecycle for a portfolio of EMEA accounts, driving high retention and identifying expansion opportunities to reduce churn and grow ARR.Account matrixing and multi-threading: Systematically map customer org structures and stakeholder networks to uncover “siloed” departments (HR, L&D, Internal Comms, Marketing, Regional hubs, etc.) and introduce Wordly to new internal buyers and champions.Run a structured customer cadence: Conduct health checks, adoption reviews, and business reviews to ensure customers achieve outcomes and can clearly articulate Wordly’s value ahead of renewal.Land and expand execution: Move beyond the initial entry point by building influence across the account and expanding from a single use case to broader, enterprise-wide adoption.Forecasting and CRM hygiene: Maintain an accurate renewal and expansion forecast, with clear next steps, risks, and close dates in HubSpot.Voice of the customer: Partner with Product and Engineering to share EMEA customer insights, trends, blockers, and feature requests that inform roadmap and enablement.Cross-functional coordination: Align internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent customer experience, mobilize resources when issues arise, and ensure accounts stay healthy and growth-oriented.What we’re looking forUK-based, EMEA experience: 3+ years in Account Management and/or Customer Success, managing B2B SaaS accounts across EMEA, with renewals ownership.Retention + expansion track record: Proven ability to protect renewals, grow existing ARR, and drive adoption through structured account management.Commercial “internal hunter” mindset: You proactively identify needs, quantify value, and pitch solutions. You do not wait for customers to ask.Multi-threading strength: Confident navigating complex organizations, securing introductions, and building relationships with users, champions, procurement, IT, and senior stakeholders.Structured operator: Strong account planning, prioritization, and execution. Comfortable running repeatable rhythms and operating with clear metrics.Relationship architect: Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence, engaging stakeholders ranging from AV/event teams to C-level leaders.Problem-solving capability: You identify root causes behind risk or low adoption and build practical plans to turn accounts around.Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal), with strong cultural awareness across EMEA territories.Nice to haveLanguages: French, German, Spanish, or Arabic.Domain exposure: Event tech, AV services, collaboration platforms (Zoom/MS Teams), interpretation/translation, or the language services ecosystem.Tools: HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, Microsoft Teams.Located in Los Altos, California, Wordly is an exciting tech startup that is looking to grow its engineering and GTM teams!
