Zen Educate is a technology company that matches schools with temporary educator staff. The Account Manager will manage and grow partnerships with US schools while also ensuring educators are effectively placed in roles, providing support and coaching as necessary.ResponsibilitiesManaging and growing a portfolio of US school partnerships:Generating an increasing number of assistant and lead teacher roles that Zen will staff over time for each district, private center, and charter schoolUpselling Zen products and servicesReporting on key trends and feedback from schools and working with our incredible Product team to implement that feedbackBeing a responsive, central point of contact for all school partnership stakeholdersManaging an engaged portfolio of US educators, and getting them work in partner US schools:Communicating daily with all newly onboarded educators to get them immediately into either a long-term or daily subbing roleCommunicating with educators who are in an active role to ensure they are getting feedback from our school partners, are happy in the role, and problem solving when not to either keep them in the role or find them a new roleCoaching educators when relevant, and getting them to complete company-provided training so they can improve their performance in the schools Zen servesThis is a fast moving, high volume role that requires an equal mix of strategy, relationship building, and acting with urgency to fulfill both school and educator needsSkillsSomeone who is coachable and thrives on feedbackA resilient self-starter who enjoys getting scrappy and thinking like an entrepreneur in order to reach their goalsA positive team member who lifts their teammates up and celebrates their winsAn empathetic, customer-service oriented person who deeply cares about and understands others' needsA passion for the education sector and companies that have a positive social impactExperience in sales, partnerships, account management, recruitment, early childhood, or education is a plusBenefits18 days paid time off (15 days flexible + 3 days for Christmas closure)Competitive salary and benefitsCompany OverviewZen Educate is an online platform to connect supply teachers with openings in schools.
