Account Executive Hospice
Amedisys is a national leader in home health and hospice care, seeking a Hospice Account Executive to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. This role is critical in ensuring patients receive compassionate end-of-life care by connecting providers with families and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices to generate leads Coordinates patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation to complete referral to admission process Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals Achieves admissions, product, and payor-mix goals Meets short and long-term target account goals Documents the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (including pre and post call notes) Maintains a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM Attends community events to promote Amedisys Responds to customer complaints in timely manner Performs other duties as assigned Skills 1+ year of healthcare sales experience (pharma, medical devices, home health, hospice, long-term care, or related outreach/business development) required Proven success in cold calling and lead generation Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills Independent, self-motivated, target-driven mindset Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance Bilingual (English/Spanish) required A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required Benefits $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus Uncapped monthly incentives Company Overview Amedisys is a home health and hospice care company focused on bringing home the continuum of care.
