The OpportunityThis is a quota-carrying role responsible for generating and closing new opportunities as an early sales team hire. The ideal candidate will possess full-cycle software sales experience in the AI/ML or cloud infrastructure space, with a successful track record of prospecting and developing value propositions to managing pilots, building business cases, negotiating, and closing deals. You will play a key role in introducing Union.ai’s groundbreaking solutions to developers and businesses. In this role, you will:Drive new business opportunities, selling Union software and services engagementsDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting a list of assigned customers or territoryDevelop deep expertise in Union.ai’s offerings, effectively communicating the value proposition to prospective clientsFocus consistently on pipeline generation to ensure sustained successLeverage Channel and Alliance partnerships to uncover new opportunities and progress dealsManage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry through pipeline forecasting, deal design, and contract closeMeet quarterly and annual revenue targetsProvide regular updates on sales activities, including account status and progressMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction, fostering client loyalty and ensuring reference-abilityTravel up to 40% for client presentations, relationship-building, and deal closure as neededAbout You: Location: Must be located in San Francisco Experience: 4+ years of progressive SaaS software sales experience, including:1-2 years as an SDR1 year selling to Commercial/Mid-Market accounts1 year selling to Enterprise accountsIndustry Knowledge: Experience selling to developers/Engineers is requiredProven track record of closing business and exceeding targetsExcellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skillsAble to thrive in a fast-evolving, entrepreneurial environmentExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to operate both tactically and strategicallyPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the AI/ML or cloud infrastructure spaceFamiliarity with developer-centric software solutionsExperience selling complex enterprise solutions or managing technical sales processesBenefits & BelongingAt Union.ai we know that employees who feel their best can build amazing things and we are proud to offer best in class benefits that will continually evolve and grow as the needs of our employees do.
