We've raised $100M+ from Founders Fund, 8VC, and Greycroft, and we're hiring builders who want to work on problems that matter.About the RoleAs our first full-cycle Account Executive, you will:Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closeProspect and identify new customers across industries using tools like Apollo, SalesNavigator, Nooks & HubspotDevelop a deep understanding of our solution and communicate its value clearlyCollaborate with product and customer success to relay customer feedback and shape roadmap prioritiesManage pipeline and forecasting in CRM (Hubspot) with rigor and transparencyKey ResponsibilitiesProspect-hunter mindset: can generate and work own leadsSystem builder: builds lightweight but repeatable processesValue seller: ties product back to customer pain and urgencyCustomer-obsessed: relays product feedback and closes loops with urgencyQualifications & SkillsYouâve successfully sold early-stage B2B SaaS with limited playbooks or brand recognition due to the early stage of the productYouâre a natural prospector and relationship builder who thrives with ambiguityYou bring structured thinking, strong writing, and concise storytelling to every interaction with a clientYou have a bias for action and hunger to winâwithout cutting cornersYou care deeply about the mission and want your work to matterYou are a mature professional with strong executive functioning skillsRequirements5-7 years of quota-carrying experience in sales roles with full-cycle B2B SaaS salesSDR experience & very comfortable getting on a phoneSourcing 40-75% of their own pipeline through prospecting, eventsProven ability to generate pipeline and close deals with $10kâ$100k+ ACVExperience selling to security management, physical security, or operations teamsSales cycle 3-6 months & can break down why that long, compared to peersDemonstrated success in early-stage environments (Series A/B)Top 15% within team against quotaBest on team at driving pipelineCan speak to being solely responsible for key areas of sales enablement with new hires or mentorship responsibilities as a Sr IC or junior managerDemonstrated ability to be highly leveragedFamiliarity with HubSpot, SalesNav + data enrichment toolsExperience with call platforms like OrumCan speak to where high ROI usage of chatgpt-type of solutionsSalary RangeSalary Range: $75,000-85,000 annually, variable OTE $175,000 uncapped, + equity Compensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive salary, equity, and a full benefits package, including:100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision for employeesUnlimited PTOUp to 14 weeks paid parental leave (for all parents)Monthly tech stipendFree mental health supportHybrid work environment + catered lunches (NYC HQ)Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at CitizenCitizen is an equal opportunity employer.
