Account Executive β Banking SPA NCR Atleos Overview We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to drive new business growth whilst also managing strategic client relationships within the banking and financial services sector. This role combines consultative sales with ongoing account management, ensuring clients derive maximum value from our technology solutions while identifying opportunities for expansion. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify, target, and secure new banking and financial services clients Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales and revenue targets Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close Build strong pipelines through networking, referrals, and industry engagement Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution presentations Account Management & Growth Act as the primary point of contact for assigned banking clients Build long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in New Zealand and select Pacific Islands Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention Client Success & Delivery Alignment Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding Monitor client usage and outcomes to ensure value realisation Address client issues proactively and coordinate resolutions Advocate for client needs internally to influence product development and service delivery Market & Industry Engagement Maintain a deep understanding of banking sector trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings Provide market feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategies Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in B2B technology sales, ideally within banking or financial services Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance, and digital transformation trends Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise-level accounts Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate technical solutions into business value Self-motivated with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets Utilization of sales management tools eg Sales Force Qualifications Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (preferred) Experience selling SaaS, fintech, or enterprise technology solutions highly regarded in the ATM, Digital banking & or Payments sectors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Revenue growth and new business acquisition Client retention and satisfaction (e.g., NPS) Expansion revenue (upsell/cross-sell) Sales pipeline health and conversion rates Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
