Account Executive

Peppercomm, a Ruder Finn Group Company, is an award-winning strategic communications and marketing agency. They are seeking an Account Executive who will be responsible for delivering communications results across B2B, Consumer, and Financial Services accounts while building and maintaining media relationships to achieve client goals. Responsibilities Work on projects and deliverables for your accounts with multiple deadlines Drive significant media relations efforts including press release development, key message documents, pitches, story development, growing and maintaining media relationships, etc Build and maintain ongoing media relationships and secure coverage with target media to help accomplish client goals and objectives Conduct proactive media outreach on a daily basis, including opportunistic and feature coverage Leverage traditional media as well as emerging technologies for PR programming and influencer outreach Offer creative and new ideas and thinking to pitch development and design and other elements of your clients’ programs Track program effectiveness through regular client reports, status grids, activity reports, etc Demonstrate understanding of a client’s business, products, markets, and influencers Understand the value of PR to your clients’ businesses and how to achieve valuable results across your clients’ programming Skills 1+ years of agency or in-house experience within public relations, with experience working across a variety of client verticals as a generalist including B2B and B2C Proven ability to build relationships with media Ability to multitask and organize multiple deadlines across various accounts Experience with writing pitches, press briefings, activity reports, etc., as a clear, concise and persuasive writer Strong oral and presentation skills Critical thinking and strategic problem solving A 'never quit' attitude and a great sense of humor Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, company paid Life Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Transit benefits 401k (match) plan Monthly allowance for cell phone, office equipment, etc. Annual Wellbeing Stipend and Professional Development Stipend Generous time off policy Paid maternity/paternity leave Hybrid work model Company Overview We’re an award-winning strategic, integrated communications and marketing agency headquartered in New York City with offices in London, San Francisco and Singapore.
